Relief is on its way to Woodbury commuters tired of sitting in traffic on
Interstate 94 near 3M Company headquarters. Thanks to the largest investment
ever in Minnesota’s highway system — which Rep. Klinzing helped pass during the
2003 session — this fall MnDOT will begin to expand I-94 to three lanes between
Century Avenue and McKnight Road. The long-overdue project is scheduled to be
completed in the fall of 2005.
