Klinzing is a very open and accessible legislator. Many of the
laws she has authored have been in response to Woodbury citizens
contacting her for help. Working with constituents, Karen
authored a law allowing students with severe food allergies and
other dangerous medical conditions to carry "Epi-pens" in
school. Karen also worked with constituents to pass a law
allowing grieving parents to obtain birth certificates for their
stillborn children.
